Job Description Summary

A key aspect of this transformation is the creation of the GridBeats Product Line, which focuses on software-defined automation solutions, integrating advanced technologies, and developing differentiated product platforms to meet future market needs.
We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our Cybersecurity product line. The Product Line Leader will be responsible for shaping the portfolio's direction, ensuring competitive differentiation, and enabling growth in global markets. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, market knowledge, and leadership capabilities to align cross-functional teams and deliver impactful solutions for our customers.

The Cybersecurity product line leader drives the overall business strategy as part of the GridBeats portfolio, focusing on market demand, product management, and technology differentiation.
The individual will have direct responsibility over the product management and the technology development of a portfolio that is expected to grow significantly over the next 4 years, leveraging a team of domain experts and optimizing R&D allocation.
The leader will report directly to the GridBeats Leader overseeing the industrialization, go to market strategy and commercial development of the portfolio, interacting with Grid Automation supply chain, regions, customers, and industry leaders.
The leader will also interact within the broader GE Vernova, Electrification segment and Grid teams to maximize collaboration, cross businesses initiatives, impact, and performance.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop customer connections, understand industry trends & growth opportunities for related segments
  • Define Cybersecurity strategy, products/solutions roadmap, and business cases
  • Drive technology differentiation and roadmap, in coordination with GA CTO Organization
  • Manage Products & Solutions life cycle, in coordination with GA regions and Global Supply Chain
  • Partner with GA regions to define marketing, commercial growth, delivery, and services strategies
  • Build efficient organization structure and diverse teams. Develop talents and capabilities to support individuals’ development and maximize business performance, create a culture of innovation and accountability
  • Develop internal and external relationships to identify, lead or support cross-portfolio initiatives and projects
  • Contribute to Grid Automation long term strategy definition and execution, in coordination with GA CTO Organization
  • Propose partnerships and acquisitions to meet business growth initiatives. 

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in product management, business management, technology development, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful strategic leadership in leadership roles and global positions.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong expertise in the software industry with in-depth understanding of SaaS business models and their implications on product development and global operations.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and in a global context.
  • Ability to lead innovation initiatives, demonstrating strategic thinking, creativity, and the capacity to introduce disruptive market solutions.
  • Solid technical knowledge combined with a strategic business mindset. Significant interest and experience in business development, commercial strategies, and building global partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze complex scenarios and make strategic decisions under uncertainty, with a focus on long-term results and growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influential skills, with a strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and business partners.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in the Electricity Transmission and Distribution, Industrial, and Automation sectors, with the ability to translate market insights into strategies that drive business value.
  • Experience managing global teams and operations, with a clear understanding of the cultural and commercial dynamics across various international markets.

The base pay range for this position is 169,200.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus annually. This posting is expected to close on 4/7/25.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
