About the Job



The University of Minnesota, Morris Division of Education may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach or supervise teacher candidates in their clinical experiences on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the academic year. This position will report to the Division Chair of Education.
The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses. Some service and research activity may be expected.

Qualifications



Required/Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturer/Assistant Professor; MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred. Candidate must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field. Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment or other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
