Description
ATSG is adding a CI/BI Developer to the Operations team. Responsibilities include creating Power BI visualizations and dashboards, data analysis, and data warehousing tasks for internal and external clients. This will require a skilled professional that can collect and analyze customer requirements, assemble data from various sources and produce outputs in Power BI to achieve the customer's goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Consult with internal and external customers to collect BI requirements
Understand the customer's datasets, correlate the datasets with the BI requirements
Create Power BI visualizations and edit existing reports
Audit existing databases and reports to optimize performance
Publish and administrate Power BI reports, datasets, workspaces and apps
Creation of staging databases and data warehouses for consumption by Power BI
Setup and administration of Power BI data connections
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred (technical field a plus)
Four-plus years' experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau)
Proven expertise in creating Power BI visualizations, reports, data models, DAX, database queries
Green Belt / LSS certification preferred
Aviation / Aircraft knowledge preferred

Competencies / Skills / Abilities:


Experience in working through all stages of analytics lifecycle, especially data extraction, validation and cleansing.
Knowledge of data warehousing products and techniques, including OLAP and/or SSAS.
Experience in working with different departments and cross-functional teams, including customer interface and requirements gathering.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and juggle customer demands.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage a wide variety of data and related tools to improve the efficiency of the organization.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Helps improve team function and dynamics by using facilitation skills and leading brainstorming sessions.
Performs quantitative analysis of key process indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Solid relationship management and leadership skills and the ability to assume increasing responsibilities in a rapidly-changing environment
Strong general technical aptitude
Additional software development skills, particularly in .NET, Python, R are highly desirable.
Advanced skills in MS Excel also highly desirable.
