Responsibilities include: Performing a variety of semi-skilled work requiring specialized knowledge in the installation, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater systems piping, valves and accessories.
Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent; NM class D driver’s license, CDL preferred; Collection Systems Level I Certification or must acquire within 18 months of hire; heavy equipment experience preferred; two years experience as a laborer, maintenance worker, construction helper or directly related experience; knowledge to read, write and follow oral instructions; skill in using tools involved in servicing water and wastewater lines, preferred; ability to work weekends and nights; and ability to pass drug & alcohol test.
