Job Description:
Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Industrial Truck and Tractor Operators to work in Polk County.
From: 3/15/2024 to 12/15/2024
Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day.
All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.
Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience and/or merit.

JOB DUTIES: Operate farm equipment for planting, fertilizing soil and harvesting crops. Operate side dump trucks to haul crops and other agricultural commodities from farm sites to storage sites. Complete general farming duties such as servicing equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3) months experience; able to lift 75 lbs.; valid CDL; able to perform work requiring exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending over, and repetitive movements; no minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Tools, Equipment and Supplies will be provided by the employer at no charge to the worker.
