Copeland Lean Transformation Manager in Sidney, Ohio

The Lean Transformation Manager will be responsible for designing, coordinating and administering operational plans globally for both manufacturing and administrative sites. You will actively participate in program/policy deployment and the operations strategic planning process including maintenance and continual improvements to the overall operations action plan and ensure compliance to that strategic plan. In this role, you will collaborate with global operations leadership to align, monitor and track progress to key objectives. This role will incorporate both global planning and lean deployment with continuous improvement activities.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate and implement the Copeland Business system throughout the enterprise.

  • Manage action plans, KPI reporting and corrective actions.

  • Develop the Kaizen funnel and aid in implementation throughout all sites globally.

  • Manage the Kaizen list of business improvement projects.

  • Coordinate regular reviews with Operations leadership.

  • Oversee and coordinate the execution and reporting on global footprint programs.

  • Collaborate with sites and advanced manufacturing on standardized methods for capacity analysis and reporting, work with Demand Management team, Sales and Operations leadership.

  • Build and maintain strong effective relationships with other departments, business units and functions to establish and leverage best practices.

  • Utilize a standard reporting format to track progress on all operations projects and business until objectives.

  • Coordinate and prepare organizational presentations for business unit / corporate meetings to support senior executives – effectively presenting key business decisions to support strategic directions.

  • Monitor monthly operations dashboard reporting proactively developing gaps and ensure timely action(s) that address trends or course corrections.

  • Support COO in developing global communications program focused on Operations, Supply Chain and EHS; development of presentation materials for board meetings, strategic planning reviews and breakthrough deployment meetings.

  • Identify gaps and develop plans to address issue that arise.

  • Benchmark world class operations planning methods, management and reporting/communication techniques.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, preferably engineering or Business Administration or equivalent field/discipline

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data leading to plans and dedicated actions

  • 3-5 years of relevant management /administration experience with experience utilizing lean tools and processes

  • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain operations

  • Experienced in MS Office

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and management skills

  • Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • MBA

  • Knowledge of strategic planning, marketing, finance, business development.

  • Comprehension of the due diligence process commonly used in mergers and acquisition work.

  • SharePoint and PowerBI knowledge.

  • Previous experience working in both private and public corporate organizations.
