Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Agile development methodologies; Test-Driven Development using automated testing frameworks; Java Programming; CI/CD processes built in Jenkins; RESTful backend microservices; Spring; Scripting languages such as Groovy or Javascript; Front-End technologies like React or Angular; Cloud technologies such as OpenShift, AWS, or Azure; Kafka Streaming; Coupa/Exari APS; and Logging/monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or New Relic.

Job Description:
Design, code, test, debug, document, and support software applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value; Mentor software engineers through code reviews and hands-on design sessions; Apply feedback to future deliverables; Solve more complex problems involving APIs, Data Structures, Algorithms, Application sequences ensuring the solutions are well integrated, testable, maintainable, and performant; Leverage existing solutions and adapt for reuse; Choose refactor opportunities to drive down tech debt while aligning with sprint and program goals; Incorporate automation in test, build, and deploy processes to drive team efficiency; Introduce automation to replace repeated manual processes; Incorporate proactive monitors, logging, and alerting into the definition of done; Perform threat modeling and analysis on delivered components; Understand most common security threats and patterns at both the application layer and infrastructure layers and delivers solutions devoid of them; Collaborate with Product Management to ensure Stories are well worded, have appropriate acceptance criteria and are sized appropriately; Drive completion of deliverables that have dependencies on other people or teams to ensure an on-time completion; Decompose Features into manageable stories/tasks; Consider the User Experience, business impact, and solution objective when managing development and design of solutions; Understand the costs and benefits for both engineering and operations aspects of the program; and Spend time with users while delivering initiatives that drive value and NPS improvements.
