Responsibilities |
The Business Development Representative Intern (B2B) must understand our clients’ businesses and how our solutions can achieve their long-term goals. They are responsible for new business development and client education. This includes prospecting, discovery, opportunity qualification, participating in industry conferences, preparing proposals, executive presentations, and marketing communications. They are responsible for maintaining our brand and sharing knowledge within the marketplace. They work within the company to ensure our services are tailored to meet our clients’ needs. Qualifications |
Qualifications include: Prior business development call center or direct marketing experience, preferably at a technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong and measurable results. Interest in a future career path in Sales Accountability for sourcing pipeline and bookings (not just leads). Comfortable performing against a variable compensation model. Experience working in inside sales or a sales-facing role. Strong and professional phone presence with willingness to make 25-30 calls a day. Excellent spoken and written communication skills as well as presentation skills. A customer-centric mindset (internal and external customers). Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong listening, probing and influence skills. Sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks against deadlines and goals. Self-motivated, hardworking, and committed to your own success. Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through. Confident, creative, curious, and high energy. Truthful with accountability to mistakes or lagging performance. |
Physical Demand |
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee will be required for approximately 8 hours per day to sit, stand, and move; to hear and to communicate verbally, fluently, and conversationally in English; use hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard and telephone; have face-to-face discussions with individuals and teams; be exact or highly accurate, meeting strict deadlines, and working with others in a group or team; and working indoors with controllable environmental condition and temperature. |
