| Position Summary | Reporting to the Bepler Chair Professor of Chemistry, the Postdoctoral Research Scientist will perform computational research and software development to support research and development of new f-element separation methods supported by the Department of Energy. |
| Essential Functions | Performs computational research, software development, and data processing to support research and development of new lanthanide and actinide separation methods. |

| Required Qualifications: Education and Experience | Ph.D. or equivalent degree/experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. |

| Preferred Qualifications | Experience with Python Experience with f-element chemistry and/or separation science. Experience with machine learning methods for chemistry. Experience with SQL and flask for web database development. Experience with computational modeling, |
