Job Description:
Summary:
The person in this position will provide administrative and operational support for functions within our Information Systems (IS) business support team.
Work assignments will include:

Coordinating the licensing and renewals for our 200-plus technology packages

Reconciling and monitoring budgets for the IS group

Working with external vendors to resolve billing issues

Working with IS leadership to prepare periodic progress updates on initiatives

Assisting with records management

Administering the processes and platform used to publish company policies and procedures

Providing other scheduling, coordinating, and logistical support for the group as needed
Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent

Five years of experience related to the job responsibilities described above

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people

Highly organized with strong accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Self-sufficient and highly motivated with a strong orientation for results and achievement

Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to client service

Desire to work as a collaborative team member to meet project goals

Strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking

Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information, keeping records, and analyzing and summarizing raw data

Comfortable working in ambiguity

Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel

Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship from Barr, now or in the future

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience

Experience using data management systems (e.g., Deltek Vision, Epicor, Workday) including developing reports in such systems to extract data
A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position can be based out of our Minneapolis, Duluth, or Hibbing, MN offices.
