Vault Representative
A Vault Representative is responsible for counting all money that comes in and is collected from vending machines across several locations. In this role you will count and keep track of all revenue generated for the vending companies, by utilizing a over/short system for daily balancing of the money going in and out of the vault. This position exhibits a high degree of confidentiality and will assist Accounting team members. This full time position is a temporarytohire opportunity at a local client company. Expected work hours 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, no weekends or holiday's required

Pay Rate:
Note: The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour.
What you'll be doing as a Vault Representative:
Accurately count and record cash deposits in the vault as well as prepare bill changer replenishment bags and par bag money at all locations
Accurately count currency and coins received for deposit in vault from all locations, by hand or using currency counting machine
Make sure bill changer money gets sent to the correct locations on the correct dates
Accurately organize daily deposits to be sent to the bank
Balance funds daily to ensure that all money in and out is accounted for
Scan daily invoices to ensure proper storage
Use computer to record transactions and send email communications
Assure compliance and accuracy by being proactive in problem prevention and anticipating business needs
Promote and foster teamwork across all areas of company and focus on delivering a high level of customer service to all

Job requirements:
Experience with counting money with coin and bill counting equipment
High attention to detail
Experience with balancing of funds
Understanding of general principals and procedures of cash handling, accounting, budgeting, bookkeeping, auditing and fiscal record keeping
Good Computer skills
Strong analytical, number comparison, and innovative thinking skills
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Associates degree in area of finance, accounting or related speciality preferred
Ability to work independently in a secure environment which may be noisy or dusty at times
Ability to stand for 7+ hours a day
Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlineoriented production environment
Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and kneel for extended periods and consistently lifting 25-50lb bags or boxes
Ability to work in an environment that may include alcohol or pork products
Ability to pass background check
