About the Job



This Researcher position will be focused on data analysis of the mechanics of cell migration in complex 3D extracellular matrix environments. Manuscript preparation and submission through to acceptance and publication is expected.

Responsibilities:
Interpret models on the mechanics of cell migration in complex 3D extracellular matrix environments. The cell migration data and associated transcriptomic data from the model will be used to understand the mechanisms of glioblastoma cell migration (50%)
Use data from modeling/ data analysis to co-author and otherwise collaborate with the Odde Lab on two (2) papers for publication (50%)

Qualifications



Required:
PhD in Biomedical Engineering or closely related field, extensive experience with glioblastoma cell migration analysis with 1 or more years of research training.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering is an academic unit of the College of Science and Engineering that administers biomedical engineering degree programs at all levels (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral).
While research possibilities among the graduate faculty span the full spectrum of biomedical engineering, the Department has established interests in cardiovascular, neural, and cancer engineering. We seek to focus growth and excellence in these research areas as we grow.
