JOB REQUIREMENTS: LOVE TO TALK SPORTS? Dunham\'s Sports, one of the
largest full-line sporting goods chains in the U.S., was founded in 1937
as Dunham\'s Bait & Tackle. Today we have over 200 stores in over 20
Midwest states from Maryland to Nebraska. We\'d like to talk with you
about joining our team. We\'re looking for smiling, enthusiastic,
sports-minded individuals with knowledge of sporting goods to provide
our customers with excellent service. Fun, fast paced work environment,
with variety in the day to day routine. Responsibilities include:
Provide excellent customer service is primary responsibility. Ringing
cash register, answering phones, performing merchandising and
operational tasks. Receive and disburse money in establishments other
than financial institutions. May use electronic scanners, cash
registers, or related equipment. May process credit or debit card
transactions and validate checks. Job Requirements include: High energy
and enthusiasm. Desire to give our customers a high degree of service.
Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
Merchandise knowledge preferred, such as apparel, footwear, field and
stream, exercise or general athletics. Stores are open seven days,
including nights, weekends and holidays. Open availability preferred.

customers\' questions, and provide information on procedures or
policies. Assist customers by providing information and resolving their
complaints. Assist with duties in other areas of the store, such as
monitoring fitting rooms or bagging and carrying out customers\' items.
Bag, box, wrap, or gift-wrap merchandise, and prepare packages for
shipment. Greet customers entering establishments. Issue receipts,
refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Maintain clean and orderly
checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as
mopping floors and emptying trash cans. Monitor checkout stations to
ensure that they have adequate cash available and that they are staffed
appropriately. Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of
transactions. Process merchandise returns and exchanges. Receive payment
by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Request
information or assistance using paging systems. Stock shelves, and mark
prices on shelves and items. Help customers find the location of
products. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas, and complete other
general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans.
Establish or identify prices of goods, services, or admission, and
tabulate bills, using calculators, cash registers, or optical price
scanners. Answer incoming phone calls. Stock shelves, sort and reshelve
returned items, and mark prices on items and shelves. Request
information or assistance, using paging systems. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
