| Job Description: |
**Desire to serve our Mission Statement to provide exceptional outpatient surgical services in a calm, caring manner.
The Surgical Instrument Technician is responsible to decontaminate, cleaning, assemble and sterilize reusable patient care equipment and instruments; maintains autoclaves. Properly cleans, sorts, and assembles all instruments according to established guidelines. Sterilizes instruments and distributes them to appropriate areas. Responsible for accurate documentation and retention of the sterilization/disinfection records required following current policy and procedure. Proper wrapping of supplies, packs, etc. following current standards for sterility monitoring
