Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Machine Operator position. As a Machine Operator you are responsible for operating different machinery live overhead crane or forklift, filling orders, and inspecting products with certified measuring equipment.

This position is 2nd shift. The hours for this Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Operate a overhead crane, jib crane, forklift, and strapping machine
* Material Handling- filing order requires employee to manually move material onto skid/pallet
* Perform quality inspections- these inspections range from visually inspecting material while processing too performing dimensional checks of the material with certified measuring equipment
* Operating SAP system
*All employees are required to wear P.P.E. which consists of a hardhat, Kevlar sleeves, cut resistant gloves, safety shoes/boots, eye protection and hearing protection as needed
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:
* High School Diploma required
* 1-3 years warehouse experience preferred
* Forklift & Crane certifications helpful
