Ultrasonographer - Diagnostic Services
MUST: Sonography education, training, and experience in the specialty
area(s) to be performed. Ultrasound experience in general (breast,
vascular, and obstetrics imaging). Demonstrated competence in the
specialty area(s) to be performed.
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART), and/or Cardiovascular
Credentialing International (CCI) required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation
activities and report generation required.
Ability to perform other duties is a plus (CT, MRI, Gen Rad, etc.)
Knowledge of how to address age-specific care needs of patients.
Preferably 1 year of professional work experience in performing ultrasound
imaging studies. Must be comfortable working independently.
SKILLS: CT, MRI, Gen Rad
DUTIES: Performs quality ultrasound examinations. Knowledge of
anatomy and physiology sufficient to be able to position and monitor patients
and obtain appropriate images. Skills in interpreting and applying written
guidelines, precedents, and work practices to standardized work situations
or specific cases. Skill in using ultrasound equipment. Understands and can
