Education and Experience Requirement(s)
A Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Non-profit Management, or other relevant field.
Certification. Fifteen (15) years of experience within a similar role as CFO with at least ten (10) years of
experience specifically in nonprofit accounting, grant, and financial management. Excellent project
management skills. Extensive experience negotiating and working with government contracts, especially NYC-
DOHMH, NYS-OMH, NYC-HRA, NYC-DHS, NYS Office of Medicaid, NYSHCR, HUD HPD, OTDA,
DASNY, and SSA. Facility with accounting software and capital budgeting and superior knowledge of taxation,
auditing, and budgeting. Executive-level managerial ability to lead senior managers in planning and
implementing the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives.
