Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Stacker to join our team. The Stacker will be responsible for stacking and organizing materials in the mill to ensure efficient operations.
Duties:
- Stack and organize materials in designated areas
- Assist with quality control by ensuring stacked items meet company standards
- Work closely with the mill supervisor to maintain a well-organized storage system
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate equipment for moving materials
- Collaborate with the order picking team to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
- Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for shipment
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Prior experience in materials handling within a mill setting
- Familiarity with lumber stacking techniques
- Knowledge of mill operations including order picking and quality control
