Job Title: Shipping/Receiving – Material Control / Logistics
Company: Medical Device Manufacturer
Location: Plymouth, MA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping/Receiving Specialist to manage the flow of materials and inventory at our medical device manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:
- Process paperwork for all incoming purchase orders and sales.
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Pull and document products for each shipment, including lot numbers and traffic methods for traceability.
- Sort products and materials according to product codes or item numbers.

Inventory Control:
- Maintain product inventory and reconcile discrepancies with inventory reports.
- Use QuickBooks to create packing slips and ensure product traceability (training provided if needed).
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and processes.

Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain open communication with the Customer Service team regarding product availability and order status.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve shipping or inventory issues.

Warehouse Maintenance:
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean.
- Perform general warehouse maintenance and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable working with computers, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Experience with QuickBooks for inventory management is preferred (training will be provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
