The Card Access Specialist is responsible for maintaining physical security by providing the security service of identity and access management. Card Access Specialists are responsible for communicating and interacting with business partners in an effort to produce and maintain card access privileges for US Bank employees, contractors and vendors in an effort to maintain security and safety of people, assets, and information. Card Access Specialists operate software and analyze data to perform the service of physical identity and access management applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage physical access and mitigate risk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners providing coordination on tasks and projects in an effort to maintain published Service Level Agreements
• Manage time and prioritize tasks assigned independently while understanding when to appropriately involve team members and management
• Collaboration and the ability to receive feedback from team members and management
• Provide superior customer service to our internal US Bancorp customers assisting them with requests and new Identity and Access Management tools and forms
• Apply Identity and Access Management policies and procedures while processing requests and completing projects in an effort to maintain compliance with US Bancorp policies and procedures
• Identify escalations and exceptions to policies and procedures and communicate them up to management as necessary to improve Identity and Access Management operations and maintain safety and security
• Processing Access Card requests (creating, printing, shipping).
• Troubleshoot Access Card issues/errors with internal customers.
• Updating access or cardholder details into the different card access systems.
• Support internal customers with Access inquiries during the conversion of our Card Access systems.
• Support internal customers with Process inquiries during the roll-out of mobile credentials.
• Move temporary access cards from the old system to the new one as they are being converted.

• Data Entry and Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, and Access

Highly Preferred Skills:
• Basic understanding of database management and/or SQL.

Minimum Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
