Landscape Laborer: (8) Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) Jobs available 03/24/2025-12/15/2025.
Employer: Growing Greener Landscaping Services Inc., 23 Old Riverhead Rd. West, Southampton, NY 11969.
Duties: CLEANUPS, ( REMOVAL OF LEAVES), MOWING OF LAWNS, TRIMMING OF SHRUBS, WEEDING.
MULCHING. SPREADING OF TOPSOIL, TREE & SHRUB PLANTINGS, IRRIGATION WORK INCLUDES
INSTALLING IRRIGATION LINES USING SHOVELS, PICKS AND REPAIRING BROKEN SPRINKLER HEADS.
SPRING CLEANUPS,( REMOVAL OF LEAVES, STICKS USING BLOWERS AND RAKES, AND THATCHING),
FALL OPERA TING OF RIDE ON MOWERS, WEEDWACKERS, SHRUB TRIMMERS AND BLOWERS. TEMPORARY FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT. EMPLOYER WILL TRANSPORT WORKERS TO AND FROM EACH JOB LOCATION. MAY GET UP TO 10 HOURS OVERTIME WHEN AVAILABLE.
Employer will provide transportation to and from worksites in Nassau & Suffolk counties from designated location: 23 Old Riverhead Rd. West, Southampton, NY 11968.
Work Days: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hours/week at $21.87-$23.87/hour. May get up to 10 OT hours/week when available at $32.81-$35.81/hour.
No education required, 1 month experience required.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.
All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59.00/day with receipts.
