Job Description: |
We are looking for a Sales Emissary for the Twin Cities Metro Area. 40+ hours/week. Compensation based on experience. Duties and Responsibilities • Direct sales campaigns in existing and new territories with Bent Brewstillery products visiting 15-20 customers daily, and working closely with our distribution partners. • Proactively pursue new accounts and build relationships with existing accounts • Obtain advantageous product placement with accounts • Work directly with spirits distributor to coordinate samplings and placements. • Maintain consistent market visitation schedule within assigned territory; work quarterly target account list and visitation schedule including chain and independent on and off premise accounts • Maintain expert knowledge of liquor, the distilling process, history, and current industry trends. • Monitor liquor inventory to maintain proper amounts based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal changes; monitor product for quality • Conduct ongoing brand training of account staff • Attain pre-determined sales and distribution goals • Assist at all special events and festivals in the territory • Assist in creating volume projections and marketing budgets; ensure compliance is maintained • Maintain professional image and demeanor at all times • Product deliveries when convenient or necessary • Conduct liquor tasting and staff education with key accounts • Monitor Minnesota State Do-Not-Sell List • Remain knowledgeable on competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Inform management of competitive activity and conditions that would affect company interests. • Perform all related duties to setting-up, attending, and regulating nighttime bar promotions. • Other duties as assigned
