Job Description: |
Need 15 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Adrian, MN. From: 02/15/2024 to 12/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. ESST Law: Effective January 1st, 2024, Employers must provide each employee with one hour of safe and sick leave, up to 48 hours in a year.

JOB DUTIES: Field preparation, tilling and planting the crops; spraying and caring for the crop during the growing season; harvesting and hauling the crop; operate farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, and other farm equipment; picking rocks in the fields; drive semi-trucks to haul the crops; complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and trucks; complete routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings to assist with upkeep. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion. Employer will provide tools, equipment and supplies at no cost to worker.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (3) months experience; able to perform work requiring extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures; regular (Class D) drivers license; no minimum education required.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
