Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a people manager in a manufacturing environment.

2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
1 year experience with OSHA safety and ISO 9001 compliance rules.
1 year experience in safe chemical storage for warehouse functions.
1 year experience in P&L management.

Job Description:
Ensure customer expectations are met through the appropriate allocation of people, equipment, and assets in the most efficient / productive manner, while ensuring the facility complies with environmental and safety regulations; provide assistance for budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor; review / analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems; develop and implement operating procedures designed to eliminate production waste and improve quality; manage the execution of site environmental programs as directed by program owner(s); coordinate maintenance activities in a way that minimizes equipment failure and extends equipment life; ensure site is operating per site and enterprise safety programs – escalating non-conformances as needed to improve compliance; contribute to the overall management of the site and to the development of people, strategies, policies and practices; provide guidance and support as a leader, mentor and coach; monitor, review and evaluate, individual / team performance and take action when required; select, hire, and develop team to ensure the efficient operation of the production and warehouse functions; be an advocate and leader for production, warehouse, recycling and site “continuous improvements” related to production goals, lean activities, safety, cost objectives, document controls, facility/asset maintenance, product quality, and/or plant improvements; develop and coordinate the flow of materials through the production and warehouse areas, from raw materials to finished products with on time shipment of product to customers and/or other Lube-Tech facilities; enhance and develop training procedures to increase efficiency, employee development, and cross-training amongst the team; lead Safety Committee; ensure employees are complying with OSHA safety rules, safe practices, and Government regulations to provide a safe environment; oversee plant cleanliness such that customer tours can be a positive marketing experience; drive the implantation and operation of site ISO 9001:2015 quality management system; manage and analyze production specifications, plant capacity data, quality measurements and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and manpower requirements; present measurements to management on a predetermined basis; management of building tenants and contacts at Roseville plant and St. Paul facility. Hybrid work may be permitted up to 2 days.
