Position Summary:  

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst’s primary role is to support departmental processes and technologies. The position would also assist department personnel with project research and execution as needed.

 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

  • Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on and support various departmental technology tools, as may be assigned, from the following:
    • Spend Management and Analytics;
    • E-Sourcing and RFx;
    • Contract Management;
    • Supplier Diversity Tracking;
    • Third Party Risk Management (TPRM);
    • P2P (Procure To Pay) Systems;
    • Travel and Expense Management
  • Ensure timely and accurate creation and upload of data files related to the above systems as well as timely and accurate creation and distribution of various management reports from these systems
  • Support the ongoing documentation of the Strategic Sourcing department’s key business processes including SOPs, training manuals, playbooks, location lists, approved vendor lists and others as needed
  • Maintain the Strategic Sourcing SharePoint site and shared file server
  • Conduct market and category research on sourcing categories and new vendors, as may be required from time to time
  • Assist the Strategic Sourcing team members with creation and administration of RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and with conducting bid analysis, as may be assigned from time to time
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, finance, or other related field, plus 0-1+ years of work experience in finance, procurement, supply chain or other business discipline. Or High School Diploma with 4+ years of the above stated experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
  • High level of proficiency in MS-Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • High level of adaptability
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work with team members and stakeholders across the organization
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • 1-2 years of professional work experience in finance, procurement, supply chain or operations
