Order#: NY1496233 Facilities Coordinator RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform regular inspections of the facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards that meet oversight body requirements/regulations. 2. Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to minor plumbing and general building maintenance. 3. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations. 4. Assist with setting up and arranging rooms for events, meetings, and programs. 5. Assist with moving office furniture as needed. 6. Perform routine cleaning tasks as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment. 7. Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal outdoor maintenance tasks. 8. Provide support to other departments or staff members as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: GED or High School Diploma preferred. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching. Stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Comfortable working at heights, using ladders and scaffolding as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable).
