Summary

Under the supervision of the ABCM Therapy Consultant / Team Leader:

• Evaluates and treats patients and communicates with families, physicians, and other health team members
• Maintains documentation of services in patient medical records
• Provides team members with in-service education and training in restorative and maintenance therapy techniques on an ongoing basis
• Supervises therapy assistants as required by Iowa licensure
• Functions within the parameters of the care center as set by the Administrator 

Qualifications / Requirements

• Graduate of an ASHA-accredited program and licensed by the Iowa Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology, or in transition via clinical fellowship year (CFY) 
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Casamba and PointClickCare EHR software is preferred but training is available 
• Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Wage Range: $45.00/hr-$55.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
