Direct Support Professional - West Main Apartments - 40/Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm/Wednesday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm/Thursday 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm/Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

West Main Apartments, located in Catskill, has eight apartments with beautiful views overlooking the Catskill Creek.  The people who live at West Main love to be out and involved in the local community, whether it's catching the latest movie or dining at one of the many nearby restaurants.   DSP’s who have experience working in mental health is a plus!  If you are a person who is an enthusiastic, positive role model, and enjoys being active, both at home and in the community, West Main is a wonderful employment choice for you!

A high school diploma or GED is desired.  Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.  An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must.  An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment.  Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS:  40/Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm/Wednesday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm/Thursday 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm/Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

STARTING SALARY:  $ 17.51 to $ 19.27 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
