Join us as our Regional Sales Manager - Beef
This position operates under general direction and is accountable for managing, maintaining, and expanding the beef, silage, and dairy business, with managerial oversight for the West region in the United States. This role reports to the Director of Sales Animal Health for North America.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
- Leading the regional team of beef, silage, and dairy sales professionals.
- Providing leadership and guidance on planning and sales initiatives for existing and prospective accounts, key integrators, industry partners, and potential users of our beef, silage, and dairy products.
- Achieving or surpassing annual sales revenue targets, with monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Negotiating significant contracts using in-depth product knowledge, industry insights, and competitive analysis.
- Maintaining high-level relationships with key customers, keeping them updated on price trends, new products, and applications.
- Cultivating essential relationships with beef and dairy customers in the region while supporting the North American animal health management team.
- Delivering timely reports and information as needed, including updates in Salesforce.com.
- Providing recommendations and insights on current beef, silage, and dairy industry needs and trends in the U.S. market.
- Collaborating with local technical service and regional marketing teams to promote best practices.
- Exhibiting leadership, team building, and cross-functional communication with other teams.
- Advocating for and helping develop best practices for each key account manager to enhance sales excellence.
- Engaging in group communication through phone, video, and in-person meetings to set priorities and shape business group strategy and direction.
- Coordinating with product management teams as needed, alongside local technical service, regional marketing, and external support teams.

- Ability to travel up to 50% of working time with some times reaching 70%
- These characteristics are normally acquired through a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and/or a background with a proven track record of sales and marketing achievement in a B2B environment. Five to seven years of sales experience in the swine/poultry feed industry and/or swine/poultry feed additive industry is required.
