POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Campus Cook at our local college campus. As a Campus Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing delicious and nutritious meals to students, faculty, and staff, contributing to the overall dining experience on campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Menu Preparation: Plan and execute diverse and appealing menus that cater to the preferences and dietary needs of the college community.
- Food Production: Prepare high-quality, well-presented meals in a timely manner, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team, including chefs, sous chefs, and other cooks, to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and taste to uphold the highest standards, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Customer Service: Interact positively with students, faculty, and staff, addressing special dietary requests and providing excellent customer service.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle varying menu demands, special events, and catering services as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role, preferably in a high-volume dining setting.
- Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing menus and schedules.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school education is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a college or university dining setting is advantageous.
- Certification in food handling and safety is preferred.
