As an important team member in the Department of Medicine, you will be responsible for all pre- and post-award administration for intra/extramurally funded research awards. This will involve working on complex proposals such as grants/contracts that require task budgets, option years, multiple investigators, and multiple sub-awards. You will:
- Analyze and develop solutions for diverse problems/issues
- Organize, plan, establish, and monitor fiscal budget control of contracts and grants administration, gifts, endowments, and privately funded projects
- Provide guidance and counsel on complex research administration matters, including compliance regulation
We’re seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented individual with:
- Three to five years of research administration experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of effective grant funding processes, procedures, and techniques
- Ability to perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting
