Post-secondary education with 2 or more years of data entry and record keeping.
Proficient computer skills, especially in the areas of: integrated databases and Student Information System, Microsoft Office and Google.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated success at establishing rapport and maintaining effective, clear and concise communication with faculty, students, and staff.
The ability to understand and follow policies and practices of an institution of higher education.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Job Description:
The purpose of the Records and Registration Assistant - Temporary role is to support records management, student registration, and general Registrar’s Office functions during the implementation of a new Enterprise Management System. This is a temporary, part-time, benefit eligible position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2025. Responsibilities provide exposure to multiple functional areas within the Registrar’s Office, making this a great opportunity for a candidate who is interested in learning about the workings of higher education.

This position will work a minimum of three days per week between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Assist with functions of registration including: Granting waitlist permissions, assist with actions associated with the Academic Standing Committee related to registration and grading. Assist with data entry associated with transfer articulation.
Assist with standardized placement and AP Test Score data entry.
Verify accuracy of transcripts prior to distribution.
Assist with preparation of self-scheduled exam supplies and locations.
Assist with catalog and schedule creation, including room change requests.
Verify enrollment status of MIAC athletes in collaboration with the Athletic Department.
Enter advising changes on student profiles.
Assist with data cleanup during Colleague to Workday transition.
Assist with Workday function testing.
Assist with Registrar's Office communication templates.
Help maintain Registrar's Office website.
Assist with commencement preparations.
This position will have special projects associated with the transition of Colleague data to Workday.
