Overview
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks an Executive Assistant to provide varying degrees of executive administrative support to the Center Co-Directors, Scientific Director, and to a limited extent, Center Group Leaders in the newly established Center for Therapeutic Discovery (CTD). Tasks include typing, digital file management, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, acting as liaison with other Institute executives, developing policies and procedures, independently completing projects as assigned. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in high-impact drug discovery in the newly developed center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Under minimal supervision, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support primarily to Vice Presidents and above or a comparable level executive. Work requires some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgement. The Executive Assistant is often called upon to communicate on behalf of executive(s) to other employees. The Executive Assistant conducts work assignments of increasing complexity with some latitude for independent judgement and remains knowledgeable of corporate policies.

This position’s work location is onsite in Boston, MA with up to one day per week remote. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).
