Performs a range of clerical duties related to the support of operations of the unit including updating and organizing information on the unit; coordinating work within the unit and with other units and departments; reporting relevant information to the supervisor; and responding to inquiries and requests from patients, visitors and caregivers.
· Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
· Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
· Coordinates daily patient flow activities.
· Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
· Promptly and professionally answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
· Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
· Responsible for keeping the reception and patient waiting areas, and office files clean and organized.

- High school diploma or equivalent Required
