2 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 04/08/2024 - 11/30/2024. Plant, weed, hoeing, watering, summer pruning the hops and vegetable fields. Harvesting the hops, raspberries, blackberries, herbs, corn, squash, potatoes, onions, carrots, beans, maintain the sunflower fields, mowing, weeding and maintaining the grounds around the barns and tents and chairs. Assisting with the chicks & kids (we only raise from babies to 8 mths). General Farm work, load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment, adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops, weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information, walk beside or ride on planting machines while inserting plants in planter mechanisms at specified intervals. Operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (weather on or off the farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach the farm fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis.
