JOB SUMMARY: 
This position will require the ability to load and unload equipment safely off and onto trucks and trailers, wash equipment, check/inspect, and communicate any damages when equipment is brought back. Perform minor repair/inspections and PM Services on the equipment, work in all-weather types, have great organizational and communication skills, and ability to work with customers in a professional and courteous manner. 
 
COMPETENCIES:  
General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or power equipment required; Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision and work Flex/Shift hours; Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; Some computer and software skills are required. 
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 
High School diploma required; College degree or continued education in a technical field preferred;  
One year of experience related to construction or power equipment service and repair is required; education required in absence of experience; Must have basic knowledge of the application, operation, and function of Caterpillar equipment and engines as well as use an application of Caterpillar tools.  
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling 
Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines 
Dexterity Normal 
Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. 
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
