TYPE OF POSITION: Activities/Extracurricular Hourly Jobs/hours/days will vary depending on event and school Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Activities Director, Building Principals SUPERVISION: None QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of sports and how events are run EVENTS: Ticket Sellers Sale and distribution of tickets for select ISD 742 events Balance cash drawers Ticket Takers Take tickets at the entry doors and gates to provide admission to guests Obtain pass list from supervisor to ensure there is no confusion at the front doors Screen and confiscate prohibited items for each ticketed event Announcers Have knowledge of the sporting event that is being announced Have a clear and pronounced voice Scoreboard Operators Have knowledge of the event that is taking place Must have attention to detail Scorebook Have knowledge of the event that is taking place Have clear writing and penmanship NOTE: The above job description is intended to represent only the key areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the business needs of the department.
