Job Description:
Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to join our team! We are looking for honest, hardworking individuals who are driven to help others. If you are looking for a company where your talents don't go unnoticed, we want to meet you!
Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care.
This position is responsible for:
Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.
Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work schedule: FTE: 1.0, Night Shift
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred
Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.
