Description

The Neurology Department at Emory University is seeking to hire a neurologist. The general neurology faculty manage patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions in a highly collaborative environment with a large sub-specialty presence. Multiple teaching opportunities are also available for candidates who have a passion for educating medical students and residents.

 

The candidates will join a highly successful academic practice with excellent opportunities for research and participation in clinical trials. The right candidate will have the opportunity to teach and supervise residents and fellows and promote the development of future leaders in the field of neurology.

 

In addition to teaching and supervising advance practice providers, residents and fellows, the neurology faculty member would have responsibility for growing the outpatient clinics, for which there is considerable patient demand. The neurologist would have the opportunity to participate in research within their chosen sub-specialty area.

 

We are looking for candidates who are:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Completed an accredited fellowship.
• Hold a GA Medical License or have the ability to obtain one.
• Have academic interests with a record of leadership, research, teaching, and clinical service.
