Apple’s Product, Design & Marketing’s (PD&M) Operations team is seeking a Talent Program Manager who is enthusiastic about finding and fostering great talent, building highly effective teams, and creating an environment where people can do their best work. You will play a key role in the planning and development of current and future talent who make up our diverse and multi-disciplinary design organization.

Description

The Talent Program Manager role specializes in aligning PD&M’s talent acquisition and management strategies with overall talent strategy. The role involves understanding the organization's goals, identifying the skills and capabilities needed to achieve those goals, and developing strategies to attract, retain, and develop the right talent. This is a role for a creative problem solver, an implementer, and someone who wants to contribute and drive programs to completion on several fronts at once. In this role you will heavily collaborate with employees and managers across the organization, as well as partner with similar teams across the Services line of business, and partner teams such as Recruiting, People (HR) and Learning & Development. AREAS OF FOCUS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: -Designing and implementing career paths for the organization that identify necessary skills for each level -Facilitating initiatives to support employee growth and development within the organization -Partnering with senior leadership to understand current and future talent needs and organizational priorities in order to inform talent programs -Identifying and developing strategies for retaining high-potential employees for key roles within the organization -Using data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of our talent management programs and to make data-driven decisions; this may include analyzing turnover rates, employee engagement surveys, and other people metrics

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years experience driving talent strategy for a product design, content design and/or product management organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • You’re knowledgeable of and have an ease working in collaboration tools (ex: Quip, Slack) and productivity software (Numbers, Keynote)
  • You have experience collaborating with highly matrixes and globally distributed teams and stakeholders
  • You have experience prioritizing competing demands in a corporate environment
  • You’re willing to flex from strategic to tactical work every day
  • You have the capacity to connect with others and build relationships by demonstrating integrity and fostering trust
  • You have experience running large volumes of data that can change quickly
  • You’re proactive and organized with an acute attention to detail
  • You’re a polished communicator, you can motivate, influence and impress effectively with all levels using multiple methods

  • You’re comfortable working with ambiguity and are capable of flourishing in an environment of continuous improvement and constant change
