Nocturnist (Hospitalist)

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• Doctorate of Medicine
• CO License (or ability to obtain)
• ACLS 

Program Details - Nocturnist Position @ Penrose/St. Francis/St. Francis Interquest (Colorado Springs, CO): 

• Area Medical Director: Dr. Mark Gaynor
• Site Lead: Dr. Amanda Johnson
• 3 facilities but act as 1 hospitalist program
• 44 physicians and 13 APPs between 2 programs
• Exceptional Intensivist team
• Procedures/Codes: None
• 12-hour shifts
• Daytime Physicians work 15 shifts per month; Nocturnists work 12 shifts per month.
• EMR: Epic
• Average Number of Encounters per day: 15 to 18
• Average Number of Admissions per day: 2
• Average Number of Admissions per night: 0-3
• ICU: Open
