JOB REQUIREMENTS: Pay Rate: \*\*\*hr Position Summary: Assembler 1 is
responsible for the assembly and test of Hillrom cardiology products per
the written procedure and quality systems requirements Position
Responsibilities: \* Perform bench assembly, testing and packing on sub
or finished unit assemblies according to assembly procedures (i.e. BOM,
DHR, Work Instructions, etc.). \* Ensure use of most up to date
procedures by using ERP system (SAP). \* Perform basic troubleshooting
on assemblies which does not require a technician. \* Complete all
appropriate forms and DHRs legibly and correctly for the assemblies they
are working on following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). \* Cross
train into multiple positions/products as directed by production
supervisor \* Perform other tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Assembly
Supervisor \* Adhere to the Quality System. \* Apply Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) in their work. \* Apply continuous improvement thinking
by suggesting improvements for their work areas and job functions to
reduce costs and lead time. \* Follow standard work (manufacturing
procedures) as written. Essential competencies: Education and prior work
experience \* High School diploma or equivalent \* Requirements for this
position include 0-1 years manufacturing assembly experience \* Prior
experience in a medical device company a plus Skills and abilities: \*
Fluent in English (both written and oral) \* Ability to read and
understand Work Instructions and Bill of Materials \* Basic Computer
skills \* 0-1 years\' experience working with SAP Physical demands and
work environment: \* Physical Demands: Up to 30 lbs. lifting \* Ability
to sit and/or stand throughout the workday. We are committed to
