Position: Maintenance Technician (PT- 4 hrs/week) Location: Cloquet, MN Brand: DirectAir, an OTC Industrial Technologies Company Segment: Air Supply Group

Pay Range: $20-$40/hr, depending on experience

Since 1995, OTP has provided DirectAIR customers with over 10 million hours of reliable operations. With DIRECTAIR OTP installs a state-of-the-art compressed air facility right at your site. We install, own, operate and maintain this compressed air system for an agreed time and supply a steady stream of high-quality, guaranteed, compressed air.


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and work Part-time for four (4) hours per week. As an experienced maintenance technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial air compressors and related equipment at our customers' locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable air products operation of crucial manufacturing equipment. Want to be a part of this growing team? Read on!

Responsibilities:

*Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Conduct thorough diagnostics and provide detailed failure analysis and equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance.

*Repair and Maintain: Perform repairs, overhauls, and routine maintenance on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.

*Testing and Quality Control: Verify the functionality and efficiency of repaired compressors by conducting tests and quality control checks.

*Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and other relevant information.

*Parts Sourcing: Identify and source replacement parts as needed, ensuring timely availability.

*Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to guarantee a safe working environment.

*Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair processes, provide estimates, and address any questions or concerns.

*Travel: Maintain a service vehicle with proper equipment, tools, and parts to promote efficient, factory-approved methods for servicing equipment.

Qualifications:

*Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance preferred.

*Experience: Proven multi-craft and/or previous maintenance technician experience of at least 1 year, with experience as a Compressor Technician highly preferred.

*Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols; technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.

*Valid Driver's License and must be able to complete a drug test and background check.

*Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed.

*Ability and willingness to travel within the Region to customer locations.
