Job Description

1 opening in the cast house and 2 openings in the wheel plant



The cast house has one night crew (7PM-7AM) opening - crews are 3 days on, 2 off, 2 days on, 3 off, and so forth



The wheel plant - both openings are for third shift (10PM-6AM) once they have enough people for this crew they will be switching to and 7PM-7AM model where crews will be 3 days on, 2 off, 2 days on, 3 off, and so forth.





Essential Duties:



Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment including; conveyor systems, pumps, piping, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, drives (belt, chain, and gear), CNC lathes (spindles, linear ways, gibbed box ways, ball-screws and nuts, couplings), CNC machining centers, and industrial robots.

OR

Repair and maintain machinery and electrical equipment including; motors, variable frequency drives, soft starts, sensors, PLC's, automation (Fanuc, Mazak, etc.), and combustion burners.

Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work, enter time, repairs, request parts, and complete work orders.

production machines and equipment in accordance with diagrams, specifications and operator's manuals

Dismantles devices and machines to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hand tools, power tools, and cranes

Safely operates floor cranes, lift trucks, man lifts as needed to complete assigned tasks.

Adheres to Barberton safety programs as part of everyday work.

Heavy focus on automation and robotics.

Starting at $35.00/hr - $42.35/hr with an additional $1.00/hr shift differential for 3rd Shift

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience within an industrial environment

-Experience with tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, multimeters, bearings, motors, drivers, variable frequency drives

- Strong experience working with PLCs and robotics (Allen Bradley/ABB, Fanuc, Siemens, etc.)

- Experience working with both mechanical and electrical since this a dual trade role of these two

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Welding experience
