Position Details
The Office of Study Abroad is currently seeking a part-time temporary Study Abroad Intern.

Responsibilities include:
  • Advising students on study abroad opportunities and scholarships
  • Promotion and marketing of study abroad on campus
  • Assisting with events and programming
  • Maintaining and expanding social media presence for Office of Study Abroad
  • Other duties as determined by intern’s interest/coursework, and needs of the Office of Study Abroad/Center for Global Studies

This position is an on-campus, non-benefit eligible, position with potential for a remote or a hybrid (on campus and remote) schedule in the future. All positions may require on campus meetings.

Remote work is only considered for residents of MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI, or NY.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to work within a diverse environment and interact collegially with individuals of different backgrounds
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Experience with advising and/or counseling
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft 365, Google suite, etc.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated interest in a career in international education/study abroad advising
  • Enrollment in a graduate degree program in international education, college student personnel, or closely related field
