This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment, Connection Systems business unit.

Summary (About this Position):

We are currently looking for a skilled trades Electrician for our Warren, Ohio Manufacturing Operations

Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools to meet specifications
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components
Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment/repair
Perform all work in compliance with all related codes
Plan, layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications
Replace or repair wiring, equipment and fixtures using hand and power tools
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, etc. to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
Work from ladders, scaffolds, roofs, and aerial platforms to maintain/repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials. Ability to bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and/or legs
Troubleshoot and repair computer controlled equipment, insert/remove cards, upload/download programs, heating/ventilation systems and set machine operating parameters
Install, maintain and adjust limit switches, proximity switches and fiber optic sensors
Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements

Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):

Journeyman card or required documentation to support 8 years or 16,000 hours working as an electrician
Documented work history
Ability to work any shift and/or shift pattern, including weekends
One year of continuous employment
