Maintenance Technician - Kemps Minneapolis
Starting Wage: $33.00/hour
Rotating Shift: Week One: Thurs- Sun 6:00pm-6:30am, Week Two: Thurs - Sat 6:00pm-6:30am
Sign On Bonus: $5,000.00

Kemps, LLC has openings for Maintenance Technicians, responsible for the maintenance of all property and production assets within the plant. This position is responsible for the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Maintenance AAS, or Program Certificate in lieu of education
1+ years field related experience
1st Class B Boiler License preferred and/or willingness to obtain with company assistance
Knowledge of all phases of electric power, 480-240-120 and the lower voltage control wiring
Experience preferred in a manufacturing facility including: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC
knowledge of various equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor, relay, and process control and packaging equipment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to work in a production and cooler environment with moderate to high noise volume (hearing protection provided)
On the Job Training provided, students in or newly graduated from programs encouraged to apply.
