This position of Carpenter is responsible for working with others to construct various projects in a team-oriented environment. The goals of the team never vary safety, quality, and timeliness. Knutson Operators are reliable, exacting, safe professionals who exceed our customers’ expectations every time.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
  • Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
  • Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
  • Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
  • Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent understanding of techniques and methods
  • Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Good understanding of basic math
  • Good physical condition and endurance

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma;
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Carpenter
