Dependent upon qualifications
Level I
$17.39 - $20.14/hour
Level II
$25.46 - $29.48/hour

Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.
Position Summary
This position provides Family Peer support services within the Mental Health Crisis Services to clients 5 until 18 years of age through identifying and creating goals and developing recovery plans with the skills, strengths, supports, and resources to aid them in achieving those goals. This non-clinical position may also deal with supporting crisis calls and providing in-home family peer supports. Assist clients by helping break down barriers to community resources and provide encouragement for involvement in community activities that support their goals and interests.
Services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), telehealth and community based.

Coon Rapids
Schedule
20 hours per week, Monday - Friday 12pm - 5pm
Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher
Certified or plans to be certified by start date within Minnesota as a Family Peer Specialist.
Lived experience with a primary diagnosis of a mental illness.
Raised or raising a child with a mental illness.
Current or former user of mental health services.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work effectively on a team.
Previous experience as a certified peer specialist.
Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
Experience with Electronic Health Records system.
