Job Summary:
This position provides diversified administrative and secretarial support for the Office of Health Wellness. Responsibilities include providing administrative support in the clinical area and coordination of daily office activities; communication of department policies, practices, and procedures; serving as receptionist to campus community members and others; transacting business with the Office of Health Wellness and the Office of Mental and Emotional Wellbeing; coordinating referrals to external service providers; and providing task supervision for student workers
Required Qualifications:
High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2. A minimum of 2-3 years related experience required in a clinic/physician’s office setting, including clinical experience and/or “front office” experience, preferred. 3. Strong administrative and operations management skills. 4. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and administrators. 5. Willing and able to work non-standard hours as required, including evenings and weekends. 6. Personal computer literacy for word processing, spreadsheet, and data management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with Ellucian Colleague a plus. 7. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external constituents. 8. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
